Porcelain Veneers

There is no mistaking the power of a beautiful strong smile. You look more attractive, feel more confident, and you tend to smile more often. When your natural teeth are less than perfect, Dr. Withers and his exceptional team can help to design the smile that you desire.

For millions of patients porcelain veneers provide the answers to many of the most common cosmetic concerns. As a permanent and relatively conservative esthetic procedure, veneers can effectively strengthen and enhance your natural teeth.

The most commonly seen cosmetic challenges include:

  • Gaps and spaces between the teeth
  • Permanently discolored teeth
  • Chipped, broken, or fractured teeth
  • Worn, discolored, or unattractive bonding
  • Teeth that are too short or too long
  • Teeth that are crowded or out of alignment
  • An uneven or disproportionate smile
  • Poorly shaped teeth

By identifying your specific concerns and studying the dimensions of your teeth, lips, and gums, your dentist may recommend one or more veneers in order to rejuvenate your smile. These ultra-thin restorations are typically recommended for the front surfaces of the front teeth (upper or lower), and they require only a minimal reduction of your natural tooth structure.

After your natural teeth have been prepared, impressions of your teeth will be transferred to a dental laboratory where your veneers will be fabricated from high quality porcelain or ceramic. If necessary, you will be fitted with temporary veneers during this phase of your treatment. Once the finished veneers have been approved by Dr. Withers, they will be bonded to your natural teeth for a dazzling result.

Even with their slim and conservative design, you can count on your veneers to be amazingly strong and impressively durable. You’ll be able to continue eating and drinking the foods that you love, and your cosmetic dental work will be highly resistant to stains and fractures.
